lol that sounds nothing like a Johnson sound..you can't achieve that type of lower mid and power amp saturation at a low volume..The output transformer needs to be maxed out ready to give out at any moment...it's got to be percussive not choppy like this is.....

it is wired differently. the bridge pickup is hotter than a standard strat. people are saying you can get this EJ Strat to sound like and a Gibson SG. I've heard it and they are not far off base. Great guitar. Don't buy one, though. there aren't many around and I'm going to looking soon. lol

I played this guitar at Guitar Center and it does sound different than the other Strats that I played. Must be the wiring or the pick ups

Everytime I save money to get that guitar they keep raising the price. 2 yrs ago it was $1460 and today its $2,340 in stores

sounds so different than any other guitar youve played on that amp. to me, it sounds better
