  • Wonderful! Salmo 147 is a celebration for the reconstruction of Jerusalem. So it must be joyful, and this is precisely what comes out of this execution.

    Even the public seems to appreciate the concert: at the beginning of the "gloria", at 1:00, the girl raises the eyebrow as to say "WOW!".

    I have now 10 versions of the vespers. Yesterday I had 9: after listening this Lauda Jerusalem I bought the Mencoboni version from itunes.

    Bravo!

  • I love the fact that the plainchant is clearly audible. That's probably how Monteverdi intended it. It's like those Gothic cathedrals where all the architechtonic is visible
