two lovers point was defaced when they constructed the new lookout observation platform. they destroyed the natural shape that had existed for millions of years. all for making money. thats the only thing that is important it seems.

this is one of my sacred spots. as a kid, i visited it
countless times. back then, there were no standing platforms,
fewer hotels on Tumon Bay, and only dirt roads leading to it.
several times during my visits, i could hear unexplained voices
and footsteps...
