You're the Cure on the Hill - Highlights (April 20-21, 2009)

On April 20 and 21, 2009 more than 450 volunteer-advocates from across the country gathered in our nations capital for the American Heart Associations Youre the Cure on the Hill—Congressional Lobby Day. Youth advocates, heart and stroke survivors, doctors and researchers met with their lawmakers to share their personal stories and stress the need for meaningful healthcare reform and increased funding for research and prevention programs to fight cardiovascular diseases, the nations No. 1 killer.
