  • below i make refernce to the Lacie hardrive and seeing alot of mac users using them.. yes this is true... but after one of my 2 lacie drives crashed and lost my last 3 months work... I am against spending the big dollars on these drives again.... oh.. and back up regularly!

    captured a couple of projects using Snapx pro the opther day... files are huge though.

    trying to compress them down without loosing the quality.

    Once i nail that... ther gear will be on its way

  • prodguy....go with Glyph drives. They are industry standard and carry an unbeatable 5 year warranty--including overnight replacement! You pay a little more but they are simply amazing product. I use a 250 gb drive as my working external via FW800 and it screams. I then backup to my cheapos to keep the Glyph nice and clear.

  • the SFX and Music drives are cheap ones that run in via firewire 400.

    the work drive and personal drive with all the pro-tools sessions are both Lacie Drives and go in via firewire 800.

    I see alot of mac users with Lacie Drives
