I'm looking into getting one. Its between an eskimo 10" and the Nils 8" power auger. Just worried the 8" isn't going to be enough. I only fish for trout and perch.

I mean you catching the fish was ok when your dog wasn't by you, but when he sat and watched you pull them through the hole it made your video 1000x better! I wish I had a dog that would accompany me on the ice!

Thanks, she really does like being out there with me. It makes it much more enjoyable... If you liked that one, you'll really like the one I put up couple of days ago... I can't post a link here but do a search for: "jigging big pike on 4lb test" The user name I posted it under is CTOutfitters

Love my Ice 45! I'm not sure the 55 is worth the extra money for me, I very rarely fish deeper than 30 feet. Other than more power, the 55 also comes with the carry bag, i had to buy mine afterwards...

@rangaman86 Nahhh.... That was my old one. I broke the throttle cable on it last season shortly after making this video. Switched to a Strikelite for the rest of the season. No comparison! Nothing comes close to the Nils...
