  • How the hell does that thing weigh 1200kg? My 1J Soarer track car weighs over 1400kg.

What lap times did you do at Wakey?

  • @MrBen12a Yeah 1230 kgs without driver after taking it over the weighbridge. We took it out to wakefield and using a gps based lap timer on the iphone got several 1:10 to 1:14's and providing the lap timer was accurate a best of 1:06:07, but ill reserve my bragging rights untill I can verify that one lol. On the day we were out with a race prepped R32 GTR, it could get away on the corners but man it couldnt pull away from us on any of the straights.

  • Excuse me for asking but roughly how much would it cost to put that engine in? also im not a very smart person about cars....16...pre-apprenticeship in automotive...for fun...or posible career in vehicle costomizer, spary painter yea.

  • Yeah prob weighs 1230kgs cause it dont have a roll cage by the looks of it, and the iphone app dont work that well ( I tryed it aswell as the official timming ). The R32 GTR is around 1430kgs, not that I like Skylines anyway.

  • I love the 1 and 2JZ!

  • ..... it just doesnt sound right lol...

  • I ran 109.9 at Wakefield on the official timing. I use Racechrono as a GPS based lap timer and it is accurate to about 1/100 of a second compared to the dorian based official timing they use up here in Darwin. I haven't been to Wakey with my big brakes, cage etc, but if I get back down there I'd like to think I'd beat that time. If you pulled a 1:06 I'd be pretty impressed. I know how hard I worked to pull 1:09.

  • how much did it cost to build this? i have a 1jzgte powerd supra and its heavy as 1600 kilos with half a tank, and it still dose low 14 second quatermiles on stock everything this thing would kick ass
