Andrew, do you have a website? I'd like to see more videos. You have a great personality and it's so much fun to watch! Very helpful, thanks.

My grey asks me what I am doing all the time too. Like you I always respond with what I am doing well except the trips to the ladies room. LOL Not keen on yelling that through my house to him. I do as well have him come with me to watch what ever I happen to be doing as well too. He thinks he help me with dishes. LOL *moral support* of course.

Negative reinforcement is an increase in the future frequency of a behavior when the consequence is the removal of an aversive stimulus.
Positive punishment (like squirting water) adds something to the situation to decrease the chance of the behaviour being exhibited again.

Never heard that before, Tui is usually out for hours at a time, until she craps on the sofa or floor or starts to nibble on something and ignores my telling her "NO"

that desire list of words is a great idea i will do that. every thing was good to learn i just personaly dont agree with what u said about when they bite u to react, i have learnt from experiance that when a parrot learns that you will react with a bite it will do it at any time they feel disconfert. when i try to teach my bird tricks it will bite but when i started not to react to the bite i found they slowly stop biteing. but not to take away from your video it was great.

actually I say don't react, but I was recently introduced to another grey who bites 10 times harder than Tui where it is impossible not to react. This bird crushed my finger and it was painful for 5 days so it is easier said than done I know but I suggest you don't react
