After surviving another epic slowdown from Launchpad, Scrooge wraps up his adventure in the Amazon and claims the Sceptre of the Incan King as his own.
The layout of this level isn't bad, and I personally like how you step in and out of the ruins as opposed to staying inside the entire ruins section as it is in the NES version. The only downside to this level, aside from Lags-pad McQuack, is that there's no way to avoid paying the statue to continue. Still, it's very easy to collect money in this stage, so even that setback is minimal.

Actually, you can still ignore the statue: it's much harder than on the NES, but you can still grab the vine from above the screen by pogoing off one of the spear-throwing guys.
At least to make up for that, unlike the NES version, you only have to pay once. On the NES, if you died, you'd have to pay another $300,000 to get past properly.
