The first ever UK Maker Faire!! What to make and what to take? I settled on building my own multi-touch table and taking my speech controlled robots. See exactly how here.

  • Did I miss something, but where/how did you project the infrared light that reflects off your figures?

  • As Waleismer says, I use a the rear IR diffusion technique different to the FTIR approach used by MaximumPC. It is simpler to get going. I used a sheet of draughtsman's paper to improve the projection screen quality :-)

  • he steel his house to the little 3 pigs :D

  • any way to make the surface solid? as in glass?

  • Really great video but I think you should get a thicker piece of acrylic. I noticed that when you push on it it bends a fair amount. Not necessary, just my input.

    Great video by the way

  • Wonderfull, great, amazing !!!!!

Nice work, I'll build my own one day ;)

  • this is very nice project but i was wondering how clear is the image in the day?

  • Very nicely done, not just your tech work but the video itself as well. Professional!

  • Will you be able to run Windows 7 on this? Will I be able to press the start button and open windows and things like that on this?
