There should be a rom of sonic 3 and knuckles in which all of the multiplayer stages are actual levels. I would call it Sonic 3 & Knuckles+. Like this so everyone can see this.

Sonic 06 was released in its pre-alpha version...

@TestAcct45 There is. Sorta. Look up Sonic 3 & Knuckles Master Edition. It's not complete, but what little there is gets pretty bad. It's not as bad as Kaizo, but relies a lot on trial and error gameplay, extreme precision, and very lengthy levels that are easy to time out on. I barely managed to beat Angel Island (and maybe most of Hydrocity) without save states.
I hear there's a Master Edition 2 out. I dunno if the creator learned anything about good level design since the first, though...

There is only one fan hack of sonic that I like and thats Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix by SonicRetro. I actually think that would have made a nice LP.
