hi bangaa, I think the other M game is gonna be timeline-wise after Metroid 1 but before Metroid Prime or 2, as it was mentioned at the end of metroid 1 (something about the "other metroid"), but yeah. Anyway, love the playthrough, i got this game a little while ago when i became a more serious Metroid fan (Super and Fusion are to thank there), it's pretty good, but I'm struggling to navigate the game. Can't wait for other M, nearly went mad when it was confirmed.

Actually Other M takes place right after Super Metroid and before Fusion. I checked the chronology on Wikipedia.

Yes. In fact there are games that appear in the chronological order between Metroid 2 and Fusion. Those games are Super Metroid and even Metroid: Other M.

actually now that I think about it there is still a problem, there is one shot where samus is fighting a space pirate general, the one who was a cyborg in hinters and wanted revenge... maybe it's his child wanting revenge or a memory or something like that.

that would make sense actually, as there is a split second in the advert where it shows mother brain attacking the super metroid. Wiki, you know all, lol. And to the other comment, it's a nice name, bet you can't guess mine from my username ;)
