@commanderkiwi6 Just saying, there were plenty of harder shortcuts discovered about a month after release. For example:
Mushroom Gorge Gap Jump
Delfino Square Double
Bowser's Castle 64 Rail Cut
DK Summit Double
How is it hard (or was ever hard) to line yourself up and press a button?

@commanderkiwi6 There had ALWAYS been harder shortcuts. I think this is one of the easiest shortcuts in the game! To be 100% honest, I have more trouble with the Luigi Circuit shortcut (not the one with the ramp) than I do this.

@slowpr0 How do you know it wasn't hard three years ago? If you could do this shortcut back then, then good job, but ~1 month after the release date I bet it was the hardest shortcut. Most of the other hard shortcuts/glitches we have now weren't around in June 2008. He doesn't say "hard", he says "hardest"; implying that BACK THEN this was the hardest shortcut to do. It might not have been that hard at all, it's just that when compared to other shortcuts it was the hardest.

The shortcut isn't hard now, it wasn't hard 3 years ago.
