been to batad on dec. 2006 when we got to the registration, the natives were really recommending us to watch this film but they didnt know when and where will it be shown. the tagline git my attention and it made me want to watch the film gut thing it will be shown again on march this year thru cinemalaya.

i would definitely would not miss that movie.

batad has a significance for me thats why i want to watch the movie.

i found the dvd for this movie at amazon. this is a fun to watch movie, beautiful background sceneries, realistic acting and the simple, touching story. i recommend you to buy or rent this movie. it's a little gem from the philippines.

Seems like an interesting film,man. I'm from the Cordilleras myself. I was wondering why it's not in any of the dialects we have there? Or is the film from the perspective of an outsider, hence the use of Filipino? Anyway, would love to see the film. Congrats and more power! keep the films comin'!

Batad is not yet available on video and neither is Gaya ng Dati I think. Some Pinoy Indie movies have been released and could be found in malls. It's a bit easier to get answers from salespersons if you could give them the titles of the movie you are looking for.
