I JUST FOUND THIS VIDEO AND I LOVE IT . NO ONE IS PERFECT THAT IS WHAT IS BEING SAID IN THIS SONG . JUST LISTEN BEFORE YOU JUDGE .

I love people who do not listen to the meaning of the words but just scratch the surface. The meaning of the song is that we all fall between the perfect model which is Jesus Christ our risen savior who lived a flawless life and the not-so-perfect model, John Wayne.

@rosalynrn Yay! John Wayne is with the Lord! But the song is just referring to JW's screen persona. The song is not judging him as a person.
-
@rambler1216 LOL! Imma have to agree with you on that one!

Oh shut up and leave Wayne alone. The point was that the guy was not as bad as rough as John Wayne and not as good as Jesus. I know several gospel singers and their language could compete with John Wayne any day.

I love it. I just saw Guy and James, a really great guitarist for the 3rd time. I have a special needs daughter, she is madly in love with Guy, took her to the concert in
Kansas City as a surprize birthday. Absolutely wonderful. Spent a fortune in cd's and got autographs and pics of Guy and my daughter. I learned this song a while back, trying to get the Pastor of my church to let me play it.... we'll see.

Am exactly like the guy in the song, sometyms I'm even as bad as Lady Gaga!! Bt Lord u r still doing the work in me, one day I will be exactly like u!!

some people really don't get what the song is saying...

@lilpeach 714 I am sorry but that is one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard. Cuss words are cuss words, filthy language is filthy language. It does mean what it says. It's wrong to talk filthy no matter where or for what reason it's being spoken!

Although I know that there is a chasm between my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I must admit that I would Love to see Christians following thLord. I also wish that we might go to a time of having the guts of Joihn Wayne and standing up for whats right. We have gone the way of apathy and complacency, That wasnt the way of either Jesus or John Wayne. Praise the Lord and God Bless America.
