http://www.therenegadehealthshow.com - No matter where I go, or who I talk to, the most common questions about healthy foods that get are these...

Why should I eat organic food vs conventional? Are organic foods really better than conventional foods? How do I know that I'm not being scammed?

You'd think that with the scientific evidence that pesticides are harmful and organics have more nutrients than conventional foods that people would start switching over.

But it's not the case. I read in a magazine recently that 98% of the population still doesn't eat organics (who knows if that number is right or not, but even if it's 70%, it's still a big deal!)

Many of you who read this blog, are in that other 2%, but we still want our friends, family members and fellow humans to be healthy and not suffer from unnecessary toxic load.

So I've created a demonstration, that hopefully we can share that may change our perspective on the importance of organic foods...

  • Actually this is not all true. Not all nonorganic food is bad for you. We all consume BTC (or something like that) corn. It has been engineered so that people do not have to use pesticide, tomatos that are nonorganic also a netter for you then organic, they add more vitamins into the tomato and they make it so that it lasts longer. The thought that you are eating something that is "mutated" is scary, but its not bad. Nonorganic does not mean "full of pesticide"

  • made me think

  • I thought this was a decent example, I don't know why all the wise-cracks. If any of you wise-crack people have done your research and can argue eating food WITH pesticides from an knowledgable standpoint with backup resources, I'll gladly listen and read it. Otherwise you are just ignorant to argue against eating healthy.

  • whoa, pesticides that are organic don't kill everything, they simply deter specific insects from attacking your plants. DDT versus peppermint oil? I would go with peppermint oil.

  • This isn't even nearly as bad as he is showing. Research is the best, but then when I think about what I am putting in my body I get sick. Just watching all those horrible videos especially how they treat animals.

  • haha! I wouldnt eat that food...

  • i have no idea how this video relate to the point he is trying to prove...

  • @jennytailya Sigh... troll. Go away. You missed the point.

  • @jennytailya1 If you put your feces on food you would actually be simulating conventional food. Conventional food uses sewage sludge(which contains human feces) as fertilizer. Sewage sludge is not permitted for organic farming because sludge contains harmful bacteria, viruses, protazoa, fungi, parasitic worms, heavy metals synthetic chemicals, etc. So conventional food has human feces on it, not organic.

  • very stupid video

    really really stupid.

    waste of time!
