Black is blackcurrant, in the UK black and purple are usually blackcurant instead of grape... :/
-

I love wine gums, I like the red ones the best, I hate the green ones. Me and my brother have contest of how can not chew them for the longest, it pasts time in car journeys. And even if you grow up eating wine gum sweets, you will still be like why are they called wine gums?
-
@Wako098 Like you would know what wine tastes like. lol
-
@shmotownlola06 No problem in clearing that up. Now, I googled it xD and it said chewy candy or something on the packaging. So I'm guessing...
-
@MrDarryl09 Yeah I'm American, lol. OF COURSE that's why it's called that. I should have known, it's common sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I believe I've had wine gum before. Aren't Swedish Fish considered wine gum?
-
@shmotownlola06 *im guessing ur American* i think it's because since the UK English is different from American English and gum translates in gummies..so since theyre chewy and gummy? i hope that helped!
-
So if it's not really gum, then why is it called wine gum?
-
