My name is Ramon Nadal, Col. US Army retired, AKA Tony Nadal. At this late date, I have discovered this web site that makes references to me. First, let me thank all of you who said nice things about me. My family is from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, but I was born at Fort Benning , GA as my Dad was an Army officer. Now, for the dumb ass that called me a war criminal--He is truly ignorant and should read, the book, "WE Were Soldiers Once and Young.

@lordconan1976 Apparently, you seem to know nothing about any military conflict or the Vietnam War for that matter. 3 people just countered your unintelligent comments including the man who was there himself. If I were you, I'd shut the fuck up, be ashamed of myself and find something else to do with my failure of a life and intelligence. You just made a complete fool of yourself.

@rnadal717 I thank you and all of Alpha Company for their fine service.

There was a major who was head of a special forces base that was over-run by the VC and NVA, he managed to escape with a few others. When asked by a reporter what the 'communist' fighters were like, he said: "the best and toughest soldiers in the world, if only I had 100 of them under my command."

But you saw them alive. And that was a good thing.

Thanks for that :)

What does that even mean? Typical idiotic defensiveness on your part. I said that it doesn't make the US any worse than the rest of us, as all the European powers are guilty of this kind of thing. It's a sign of maturity to understand and accept your faults, you should take note.

@lordconan1976 I have no doubt that you are one of the most ignorant, inconsiderate, and cold hearted, not to mentioned spelling impaired individuals I have ever seen on YouTube. You think that just because you can criticize people that it makes you an expert, I aspire to be an Officer in the US Army, now I know that in the field and heat of combat, you don't get a timeout to talk to the coach, it's think and do, divided by quarter of think.
T&D/(T/4) as I'd like to think. Please. Stop your si
Continuing to answer the stupid comments- the assault I personally led was a two company coordinated assault ordered by the battalion commander, to recover a platoon from B Co (I commanded A Co) that had been cut off. The detailsare in General Moore's book.

@rnadal717 - Colonel, thank you for posting on here, sir. As I posted earlier, it was an honor to portray you on this show and if you'd like me to remove the negative comments, I'd be happy to. You don't need to explain yourself to anyone, I read the book, you're a true hero.
