Digg Style YouTube Comment Rating! Love it or Loath it?

Today's maintenance update brings comment ratings. Much like digg.

how long does it take for your good or bad comment to even show up? i give ratings all the time and it seems when i see the comment that i rated it hasnt changed...wtf?!?

Also, youtube should show thumbs down on comments again, instead of just showing the number of thumbs up.

Youtube should give you three options, 1) The original layout (for the nostalgia effect) 2) The current whatever the heck it's called layout and 3) The "Cosmic Panda" layout, and let you shift between anyone you want at anytime. But noooo, they want to enforce it :(

Has anyone noticed that you'll see just thumbs up now?

Everywhere I view videos on YouTube, I'll only see comments with just thumbs up. I don't ever see thumbs down comment. Is YouTube trying to encourage the idea that there is right but there is no wrong?
