This reminds me of the flood in late September of 1975 when the Saw Mill River Parkway flooded thanks to what was left of tropical storm "Eloise". I saw someone canoeing down the flooded Saw Mill River Parkway. I waded out to the median and a state D.O.T. truck had a P.A. system and they told me to get out of the water.
