this is painful, everytime i practiced i spun on my spine and it hurt alot, the only time i didnt i spun into a pole

I have a question, i use my (right arm) "pilot arm" or whatever you call it, when i do things like attempts at windmills, but near the start of this video where you talk about rolling to the side that you pilot on (so my right). For some reason i find it more comfortable to roll to my left. Is this bad?

yes because it teaches you how to kick hard and makes you work hard on spinning and no because you wont spin as easily as you would on hardwood. and dont even think to do this shirtless.

I'm digging those shoes Vicani. I want to ask a quick question out of curiosity. I have a windbreaker but I wanted to know if a leather jacket will also work. I practice freezes and different spins every day in my gym at school.

Whats up yall I just wanted to say make sure you guys master this Freeze before moving on to windmills. This will help you understand how to kick and collapse. When I post windmill part 2 this will really help you by having this basic down.

I'm having a problem staying balanced on my back. I can spin around once with my arms and legs extended, but as soon as I tuck, my spin goes out of wack, and I'm force to sit up, otherwise I would get a face full of cement. Also, I spin on my mid-back and I'm having problems getting up to my shoulderblades. I can spin just fine on my mid-back, but I don't know if it's ok to spin like that, or if it's going to affect my windmill. Thanks!

@Feffysue So what you gotta do is go back to the beggining and practice this slowly like slow motion 10 times. Then rest and do it another 10 times. Do this until your clean. Dont even spin just get that motion down. You must be kicking your legs wrong which is making you spin all crazy, Once you get a good spin all you have to do is relax and lean back. Hope this helps
