I think the game wants you to have nothing in that one spot. But how should I know? I am not even there yet. I am stuck on AIR'S ROCK!!!! My sister has though.... She beat the game. I am of her. How long did it take for you to beat the game?

it seems that Golden Sun 1 and 2 were the build-up to this game. My guess is that Alex will be the big boss at the end.

Gameboy Advance! If you find this game though, a Nintendo DS will work just as well.
I use an emulator for this LP, aided by a gamepad that you can occasionally hear me clacking away on.
