...but "bad situation" is a feeble point. That's using abortion as a convenience.
* Correlation between pro life and pro death... interesting if true, but they are unrelated. Arguments pro death penalty are as problematic as those pro choice.
As I said on your glaze 101 video, we seem to think in a similar way so I expect you'll avoid begging the question when you consider this; If you agree abortion should be illegal at ANY point; at what point post-conception does the foetus' life matter?
Hi I allso love to throw clay.Just to comment to your comment on Abortion,I am against it.if and when it comes up for a vote to make it leagel or not I will vote no.thats all you need say!!What are you voteing for Clay? the right for that baby to live!!all that jabber on and on about the mothers rights or whatever is just stupid you ask me,I vote for the right for baby to live::Thats all thanks linda
The fact is that government should have no say over a womans body. Women should have their choice. I must say I don't agree with abortion but I also understand that women should choose and no one else particularly the religious "wrong."
I am for greater restrictions placed on abortion laws but also against the death penalty.
I think it is possible to restrict abortion laws & still find exceptions like, when the health of the mother is concerned, whether that mother is under age 18, or if rape was involved could be established. It would not be fully acceptable to either pro choice or pro life advocates but I think the compromise would be valuable
Viability? I think at any stage you abort you kill a living growing human life!
Well expressed, particularly the point about the lack of moral consistency of the religious right. One cannot oppose abortion, citing the sanctity of life, then turn around and support the death penalty. One cannot impose laws making abortion illegal, citing the sanctity of life, then refuse to support laws to financially assist the child. Yet this is what the religious right does. So one must ask, what is their real motive?

* Age of viability = bogus argument. Premature (i.e. in big trouble) children != ones without the same problems. Apples and Oranges.
* "Legal, safe abortions" don't exist. Legal, yes. Safe? Nope. It's a risky procedure that causes harm. (e.g. increase risk of ectopic pregnancy)
* Doctor's oath is in no jeopardy with illegal abortion.
* Choice vs options. Should Docs kill suicidal people to reduced the rate of botched attempts?
* "Baby in a bad situation" - is the only real valid argument here...
