I saw it at the cinema. It had a great cast and a story by Alistair McLean, so should have been really good., but failed to live up to expectations. It was OK, but there were a lot of those spy/adventure films around at the time and it was nothing special.

I've read Alistar MacLeans book, and the movie is nothing like it.

is this movie any good? It doesn't look like it ever made it to DVD.

@chubbles1212 I think it has been issued to DVD in Europe but not elsewhere. Reviews for the film were not good, but I know people who still enjoyed it. It's a type of film generally not made any more, and personally I found it entertaining. Not great, but entertaining.
