Fallout 3 - Alien Explosion Random Encounter

A random encounter that can happen where 'something' fly's through the air, explodes and drops the alien weapon the Firelance and about 20 ammo for it. Possibly means that the OTHER alien encounter isn't as limited in ammo as once thought.

As a note: Yes, this is a random encounter. I know this because after failing to save after the first time, I had to spend 30 mins running into this same place over and over until it happened again and then another 30 to 45 mins to get it to repeat while being recorded. There is a static encounter possible elsewhere in the game.

that same thing happened to me at this abandoned radio station and i also got the fire lance... i looked and found a good 15 shots for it... nice job ^ ^

i saw it fly down and explode like a nuke and when i looked nothing was there

Lol, that happened JUST now while I was playing (I'm on my iPod at the moment). I wanted to know wether you could get anything from this. I was literally seconds away from leaving the area until I realized there wud be a firelance. THX A WHOLE BUNCH
