Part 2. A harm reduction training educational video critically important to people involved with intravenus drug use. It teaches important health care procedures and advises against extremely dangerous incorrect methods; all with the goal to reduce the harm from drug use to a person and their associates. Statistics show clearly that this eduction is greatly effective to reduce the spread of disease and improve the overall health of communities, all communities, since diseases of drug use communities spreads to all. If every drug user cleaned their needles according the procedures outlined hear, 80% of HIV cases around the globe would not occur.

  • great job @HealthCb ... thank you for uploading these videos, they are essential for dealing with addiction properly. Thank you!

  • good to show my druggy brother to be safe at least

  • Excellent video, thank you for making information on how to shoot safe so easily available! You are saving lives by sharing this information!

  • @rocknrollporn depends on what number heroin is being used. Number 4 (most commmon in the US -white smack) just needs heated and put through a cotton filter. Number 3 heroin (Brown smack like in the UK and Europe) is really made to smoke - but if you wanna shoot it you have to use an acid. Lemon juice is crazy because it causes blindness. Vinegar DOESN'T sting but it doesn't cook properly. The best thing to use is Citric acid. It stings a tiny bit, but you use less Citric than Vit C (ascorbic)

  • @TheNextPre2010 They aren't promoting heroin, they're trying to reduce the harm of it. Ideally we need to stop treating addicts like criminals and start offering them medical treatment to cure their addiction, this sort of comprehensive harm reduction should always be used regardless. People have actually died in cells of discontinuation sickness when forced to stop some of these drugs cold turkey.

  • Drug addiction is a medical issue and should be treated as such, this sort of harm reduction saves lives.

  • It doesn't promote any drug. It promotes the prevention of stds. People are going to use no matter what. Wouldn't you rather them be safe about it?

  • yes, pretty much. it takes dirt, some germs and bacteria and other fibers and solid junk out of the heroin solution. if you inject those things, you could get some really nasty infections or have a stroke.

  • it's promoting safety..."harm reduction", for those already addicted, or still willing to try it knowing the consequences.. it is not promoting the use of heroin.

  • @gilbertwv
