During the few months I went to Kixa classes, I never learnt any actual skills to defend myself.
Unless the person attacking me stands waiting to be hit, I wouldn't be able to use any of the moves I learnt..the training was a bit robotic.
It wasn't entirely pointless, but I can't take it seriously as a martial art.

what about multiple punches and bricks to the face? can we see a demonstration of central power in this instance?

I used to do Kateda in 1987 Birmingham (U.K.).
Trainer was called Madei from Indonesia.
Anyone remember him from Birmingham University where he studied ???
