i downloaded itunes 8.2 beta but now my iphones and ipod touches wont show up in itunes, any help?

my itunes beta keeps crashing and wont finnish the sync. what should i do??

I had the same problem a minute ago. go to the folder where the library files are, not the music files, and delete them. Move your music/apps to another area. Then install the itunes you want.

Just copy over your itunes library files somewhere else (desktop for example) and then try to reopen iTunes Beta. It's the library files that are causing the error since they are created with the newer version. Once those are out of the way Beta will open.
