After the old asphalt and contaminated gravel was removed, the Go-To-Paving Guys fired up the Barber Green and laid 886 tons of asphalt base. Because of low-hanging tree branches and "million" of utility wires crossing the road, what should have been short day took a little longer. The second course of asphalr, or the finish coat should get laid in the Fall. I hope that we can get some pictures, and then post them here as a video, or as stan-alone photos at pcpaving.com

Good to see the Old Barber Greene Pavers are still out there working.....My dad helped pioneer the Extenda mat screeds back in the 70's...happy days!!
