I think the Russians need to be more Russian, not less. Soviets were basically anti-Russian. To become more Russian means a return to Orthodoxy, among other things. It might even be a good idea to bring back the Romanovs, under some kind of constitutional monarchy. Of course, I'm not a Russian-- so take all this with a grain of salt. It's just an oustider's recommendation.

@UtvarOP Pan-Slavism makes a lot more sense than Bolshevism, I'll give you that. I think the religious and ethnic divides among Slavs will continue to make it impossible to achieve in practice, though.YMMV, as it evidently does. I wish you well.
