This is our puppy, Sergeant Chewenstein (aka Chewie) in his first 7 weeks with us, including his first steps in his new home, his first walk, and a few others.
EDIT:
Chewie passed away on the 23rd December 2008. He was vaccinated but he contracted and died of canine parvovirus. He was our little boy and we miss him terribly. He was far too young to leave us. Please, vaccinate your dogs. With some areas of London the vaccination rate is lower than 50%. Parvo is a terrible and merciless disease which will thrive without higher vaccination rates. Protect your dog, and protect innocent puppies like Chewie.
If your dog is a black and tan breed, or a cross (Chewie was a rottweiler/labrador cross) then get boosters, as black and tans are far more susceptible to the virus and even vaccinated dogs can die.
We love you Chewie. x x x Sleep tight my boy.
I salute you sergeant chewenstein, may you rest in peace.
