And not many people know that this was a mandarin song first sang by Feng Feifei, written by great Luo Daoyou. And her mandarin sucks, so that doesn't bode well for her Vietnamese I guess.

If you think Dalena's voice is good singing this song, try listening to her singing "Mot Minh".
-
@lucirz Hmm I wonder which dialect you ment by that?
-
@IImidnightshow she first started singing in mandarin and then viet

is it bad i can't speak a bit of vietnamese but yet i can understand the first part of the song
-
the singer has sweet voice and vietnamese part is better

@lucirz haha thats hella shady for saying some dialects sound nasty. one can't really judge a language by the way they talk. im pretty sure if a really pretty girl with an angelic voice speak the "nasty" language it wouldnt sound as nasty anymore right. but hey its just your opinion.

why is she singing in different languages? is there 2 separate versions anywhere?
-
The song is from a chinese movie called "A moment of Romance" starring Andy Lau
The song title is the same as the movie

Wow, Ive just come across this vid and I thought she's a Vietnamese trying to sing in Chinese. Until I read the comments about her. What a surprise, her voice is a lot more emotional than any other VNese "stars" out there. Her pronunciation seems even better than mine (actually my southern accent often causes misunderstanding)
i can't recall Aaron Kwok ever sang this song. Is it on youtube?. by the way, why is the Vietnamese language sound so different when singing vs. speaking? singing Vietnamese and speaking Vietnamese sound like two separate languages to me.

@iluvbogs because vietnamese has alot of dialects, some sounds nasty, some don't, just like in chinese. i'm guessing you live in the U.S, so most of the vietnamese you've heard probably come from southern dialect, probably some ghetto southern vietnamese people too. lol however in most modern songs when they sing, they tend to pronounce words in the northern dialect, so it sounds better.

@iluvbogs however, i don't have a northern nor southern dialect nor a any variant of those two, i have A HUE accent, which is very different. i doubt you've heard a hue accent cause there are not a lot of hue people in the U.S
