Dude that is sick!!! I have wanted to make my 450 into a blackhawk but have held off because I havent found a way to get the scale tail system... That is awesome!
So instead of running a belt drive your just using a brushless motor to power the rotor system and then the normal tail servor to change the pitch for direction... What ESC are you using for the tail motor? What brushless motor are you using and how did you choose which motor to use?
Nice job cant wait to see it operating...
