Particle tests (6) closed Systems HD!

some more testings, sections of endless running particle systems, no hand keyed animation involved, just procedural. The shadows for two of the clips are just after effect fakes thus look not too real, but i like it that way

May i ask a question, Particle and Modeling, Which is harder? Btw you particle look great!

@reztreborn its something different some are more specialiced on effects and particle stuff others prefer to become good at modeling, you cant compare it

fumefx grid with an box emitter as big as the grid itself, just emitting smoke.

two big spheres with three little spheres attached to each, both rotating randomly

the 3 spheres attached to the faster rotating one swirl the smoke

the 3 spheres attached to the slower rotating one emitt the particles wich follow the fume simulation

procedural krakatoa material for rendering, omni lights attached to the slower rotating spheres, thats it :)

So for the really trippy LavaLamp-esque one (the first one) did you already have the idea of that image in your head and you just happen to be a god of particles, or did you just throw a lot of lights and stuff into there just to see what would happen (and just happened to be a boss anyway)?

At any rate, I'm jealous of your particle genius.
