when i choose the name of a property as the value, then it copies the value of the chosen property, right?

you can't change the text in the game engine when it's a mesh

all you have to do is add:text then go to object:covert object type:mesh

i did it o my old computer and it worked. but i downloaded a slightly different version and it wont work. i have everything but the alpha part working, pllzzzzz help me.

Dude this is to long!!!!!! if you want an easier way to use Text in the Game Engine.
ALL you have to do is type add Text like you normally would THEN select it "Right Click" and PRESS "ALT + C" then select "MESH", Press "P" there it is!!!. Its less the hassel then this

@rockoutdudepro Yes you will have text but not property controlled text, which is key in more advanced scenarios

HELP HELp i did this on my game and it worked, but when i gave it to my dads computer the text did not show up!

You need to pack the textures but not by doing it in the menu, in the image viewer you have to hit the package button, probably some bug.
