Lyrical Contemporary Dance Solo to Dream On By Kelly Sweet

Here is my 2010 lyrical solo to Kelly Sweet's remake of Aerosmith's Dream On. This performance was a bit more than 3 months after my 2 1/2 hour hip surgery and 19 days after my appendectomy. I've seen WAY too many doctors this year - LOL! And as it worked out, this was 39 days before my surgery on my other hip, which had already become pretty painful by this time. Thank goodness, I only have two hips, and they've both been fixed now!

this was absolutely amazing. i noticed you did your ala seconde turns on your right foot, like me! is that because of your hip surgery, or are you just better on that? anyway, this was wonderful and you showed so much emotion. most dance videos i don't watch for long, but i watched the whole thing. great job!

Thank you so much! Yes, I was restricted to what I could do with my left leg after surgery. I normally do these on both legs (see my other video from last year to Sounds of Silence), but had to revise choreography around my restrictions this year. :o( Oh well - just glad to be able to dance at all . . .

A really nice performance. I comment first time on the dance performance like this. In fact, I don't have a good knowledge about the modern dance, but your dance is very beautifull and I enjoy just it. Moreover, it is especially suprising, if you danced this 3 months after your surgery. I appreciate the uproads of your dances. God bless you!!!
