Jeff & Dan are at it again with the game reviews, this time it's New Super Mario Bros. Wii for the Nintendo Wii. Will they like this game? They've been known to be pretty harsh on game reviews, come hear what they have to say as they compare and contrast it to the old Mario Games that made the franchaise so popular.

  • I like fact that while you cant see it, he actually is playing a red cartridge. You can hear Maximum Carnage in the background.

  • good Ear! You must be a classic gamer.

  • Ya, I still have my original nintendo with the grey gun, before they changed it to orange for some odd reason.

  • Probably the same reason they were forced to add an orange cap at the end of the classic 80's Transformer Megatron. Because it was mistaken for a real gun. Then after that, there was some hoopla that required all toy guns to have the orange barrel or some crazy business like that. Back in the 80s you could get away with anything, people weren't as uptight as they are now.

  • You can flip over on the gates in the castles, but only in one castle I think.

  • You are correct. We realzied this the 2nd time playing through (when looking for all the coin). The castle (I beleive) is in World 3.

  • Super Mario bros. Wii is not hard. The Orginal Super Mario bros. 2 from Japan on Famicom (Japanese NES) looks way harder.

  • In Super Mario bros. Series, the enemies that throw Spike Balls are called Spike, Orginally from Super Mario bros. 3. There is a HUGE Bowser at the end of Super Mario bros. Wii.

  • hard for a mario game? is the easiest 2d mario EVER in a home console.

  • @EffnDan Awesome review! I've been wanting this but haven't got the chance to get it. Btw, those "sh*tballs" were in Paper Mario on the N64. They're called "Fuzzies" :P

  • uuuh,,, Those enemies are called fuzzies and apeared in all of the paper mario games.

  • I think I heard something about never having a water level in the final castle... The final castle of the original SMB has an underwater section.

  • ok its not any harder than smb3 or smw
