  • how long can you leave them in the drawer like that uncovered? like before they dry out? i am just getting into clay and loving it :-) thanks for the videos they are great

  • Forever. They don't ever dry out. Amazing stuff. I'll be adding more videos to my website soon. I'm glad you enjoyed these. Have fun with the clay.

  • mpicky,

It a Seritile brand and the only number I saw was 1791. But they come in lots of sizes and you can get them most anywhere. But any plastic drawers will do, just make sure that they are not the hard plastic.

  • Thank you Estherfay,

I'm glad you found it helpful. good luck with your caning and thanks for leaving a comment. I have more on my website at Polymer Clay Etc. Find out how I cover business card holders.

  • I used some plastic containers and they melted along with my clay. I use the same type of containers with a layer of plastic wrap inside to protect my clay. This way my clay and my container don't melt.

  • Its called Sterilite, but you can look for Artbin storage items too.

  • The brand name is Sterilite

  • Thank you for your ideas! I too am just starting out and having fun. I have only a handful of canes & scraps. Is it o.k. to keep them in a baggie? Had fun looking at your web-site too.:) Thanks!

  • Thank you for the tips. As someone new to polymer clay, I will take all the help I can get. Looking forward to additional videos from you.

  • What is the number on those drawers (the one in the triangle)? I will try to find some!
