An attempt to capture the facial expressions on a face using an active appearance model (AAM). Model build from 10 image of the person in the video (thats me!) using the AAM-API developed by Mikkel B. Stegman at DTU.

  • Nice, what fps did you use?

  • Framerate of the recording was 10fps, however its not running real time, the tracking of the facial features is done "offline".

Gee I've just seen these comments today. Dont be mad Maeurd, why are you so mad?

  • what software do you use

  • Hey, just caught your video. I used Cootes' system for my thesis on face expressions. I have a copy online if you want to look at it, pretty much the same as yours with 161 landmarks. Have you done anymore work on it since this video?

  • Very nice, this would be a lot faster if you use an IC-AAM instead of the implementation in the aam-api

  • im not sure that someone would understand the complexity of aam and what it actually is doing. Can i ask what software or libraries you used?

  • How is it fake? Are you retarded?

  • it is deffinetly not fake because if it would, it would have been much better
