In 2008 Rosie was diagnosed with lymphoma in the stomach. As a result she needed to go through a series of treatments which cause your hair to fall out. To avoid dealing with hair falling out she shave her hair. Although having cancer is one of the most scary and humbling experience one could have, it was the support of Rosie's friends and families (and alot of laughing) that helped make this time bearable. Thank you to all that helped our family in our time of need. Despite being in remission rosie still needs to get regular checkups. Rosie encourages all women to practice self examinations and visiting the doctors for regular checkups.

  • I hope you like this video, although it's raw, this is a real part of our lives when Rosie (my mum) was going through cancer. At this point in time the cancer could have gone either way, thankfully she is in remission now. But we found that laughter and support made it bearable. I would be interested to hear about your stories....?

  • @GBAJM -- that was suppose to read, great with her hair... but even had a bigger smile without any.

  • Well.. I just have to say. Having the room for laughter, at such a down time, must have felt great. She looked great with her, but even had a bigger smile without any.
