I was explaining this commercial to my three kids (and having them practice their 'R's at the same time! I was so happy to actually have found it-great memories! Thanks for uploading,(with my luck, they'll teach all their friends at school...:$) And yes, that IS the beer in the Twilight movie, a nice authentic touch only a local would know :D
I lived in Tacoma in the 70s and there was Presidents Beer and some beer in a white can that had a picture of a guy that looked like Burl Ives. Anyone know the name of the beer?
@panktainter did you ever find out what the name of the beer was? I saw your post a couple days ago and asked around but no one seems to know or remember. I was a kid back in the 70s so I can't remember first hand.
By the way, does anyone have the link to the classic Stroh's commercial where Alex is digging in the neighbor's yard and manages to bury a 15 pack and a whole Stroh's delivery truck?
