@Pearlharbor350 they use both, M249 SAW is used in a squad capacity, hence the name Squad Automatic Weapon, where as this would be used maybe mounted on a Humvee or in a fortification, so unless they replace them completely your fine man! Semper Fi!

@Pearlharbor350 i think no cuz both these MG work very good in there part of the team that your in like if your going to have a team to search house to house the m249 seem the best and the m240 can do the same but i think its a hold down more were your at like if your holding a path way and some car is coming at you then the m240 will do most of the shooting at that car to stop it so dont worry you will use them but its were your going to be at or in team to help out

@Pearlharbor350 The M240 replaced the M60. The ARMY still plans on using the M249, but the Marine Corps is going to replace it with the M27. At least I think they are . Not entirely sure.

Hand under the cheek is inconsistent.. hold under the buttstock towards your face.. and bring your firing hand up.. dont muscle the trigger bro.. lastly 7-9 round burst are more accurate than 3 rounds, save the 3-5 round burst for the 5.56 man
