Richard Neville of http://www.homepagedaily.com/ looks back at the war in Iraq on its 5th anniversary and discusses the failure of mainstream media and such sites as YouTube to convey the full spectrum of horrors committed by occupiers. Puppy tossing is a metaphor of psychopathic breakdown. Neville compares those who rely on conventional news sources to the prisoners in Plato's cave - ill equipped to see what's really happening. And as for the instigators of the invasion, why are they still at large?

  • A war crime is a war crime. Nazis had excuses lined up too (e.g., "I was just following orders"). What do you expect when you unleash untrained, heavily-armed 18-year olds to police civilians? Police officers have to undergo psychological tests and training. Would you allow these burger flippers to patrol your streets? But it's good enough for the Iraqis? After all, they're just brown people?

  • Simple, my man. I've met these puppy-tossers myself. I work with them everyday. I exaggerate very little when I paint this tattered portrait of America's heroes for hire. I cannot accuse the intelligent among them for the faults of the majority. But facts are facts.

  • I cannot see all Americans are business opportunists...just their politions. Great monologue, Richard.

  • You might be right.

  • You're an ass

  • Wow. Really pointed. We're hoping for the war crimes trial, too.

  • Good work Richard and co ;)

Australian Main Stream Media Outlets are a 'D notice' controlled joke....So called unbiased news media owner (who's father was put in place by Rothschilds: read the book 'The Judas Goats' by Micheal Collins Piper for more detail) Rupert Murdoch admitted "We tried to shape the agenda on Iraq" Jan 26, 2007

And as you'd be aware, that's just the tip of the snow job they're pulling on all Australian's right, to KNOW!

You guys made my day, thanks.

    cheers,

    Rod (Qld)

  • Oh... 40xmyke ! Are we a little sensitive about criticism of the US of A?

Check your facts first. THE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WHEN THE US INVADED IRAQ!

Did you miss that piece of news (it's quite old now). But, I guess you are a bit slow in the head.

  • Cheers warrior!

  • You are probably right, perhaps my comment was out of line.

  • Richard is a decent well mannered bloke who lives nearby to me. Even though we have never met he always gives a wave or a smile to anyone and everyone.

  • Why has the 2020 summit failed to place peak oil and the solutions that Permaculture offer on the agenda?
