It is ludicrous to believe that the people calling themselves "the state" can sign a piece of paper and magically wish guns out of the hands of criminals, any more than they can declare a "war on drugs" and wish away the drugs. If anything, these magical pieces of paper have only proven to increase the market demand for guns and drugs. If criminals followed the laws, they would no longer be called "criminals"; they would be called "law-abiders"
