  • I thought you only had to aspirate an intramuscualr injection?

  • I agree with sincityboy too! If you don't aspirate you can get a vessel! The only one you don't need to are for such as TBs

  • @caitywood386 If you hit a vein and dont aspirate there could be serious comlications. I guess everyone has there own opinions. I always aspirate except on intradermal.  Another student gave me a sub-q and when she aspirated she drew blood.
