  • i'm 41 n this is just my youth..."bands" of today have no idea...most of them don't even play instruments 4 ffs...

  • Oh, so bittersweet! It was a bittersweet song even back then, when I was 16. Of course now that I'm 41, it makes me just as misty as the narrator. :) I love it! Thanks for posting.

  • I remember this so well from 1986, when I was 16. Still one of my favourite tracks.

  • A song Bono wished he wrote.

  • im 45 now and have seen many bands live, but nothing compares to the raw power of an alarm gig,was at the concert where the live footage was shot for this video, still remains one of the best gigs ive been to,also went to wembley 86 just to see them support queen, happy days

  • "I still believe a man can change his own destiny. But the price is high that has got to be paid. For everyone who survives there are many who fail [ I've seen my friends caught out in that crossfire. All their dreams and hopes smashed on the funeral pyre. I will never give in until the day I die"

  • Ahh how good were The Alarm back in the day...I saw them live 5 or 6 times and they were always great. The songs are still good even if the hair isn't.
