Santa Fe Warbonnet GE C44-9W #619, GE C44-9W #5469, GE ES44DC #7495, and GE C44-9W's #4319 and #5133 lead this westbound 79-car H-VAWBAR manifest past the DPU of an eastbound KOAMN intermodal (GE C45AC #5257) and out of Oroville, California on October 13, 2009 at 5:44 PM. This train stopped here on the main after a detector reported a defect with the 307th axle of the train (their 69th car). The eastbound, which had just arrived at the yard for a crew change, offered to inspect their 69th car for them to save time. They later found nothing wrong and BNSF 619 west was back on the move about 5 minutes later. Our first big storm of the fall season, a left-over typhoon from Japan had just moved through the area and the winds were gusting to around 50 MPH. At one point my hat almost blew off and the camera got a little shaky (please excuse that). I tried the best I could without a tripod for what the conditions were like, but I think the wind would have blown over a tripod anyway.
they should be repainted into warbonnett. a much prettier scheme than what BNSF currently has.

Man it was windy! It was the same down here in Davis. I was going to try to catch a train but it was raining so hard it would have broken my camera. Great shot!
