  • Jackie that was an excellent unboxing. I did some research myself and it seems you got yourself a great camera. I can't wait to see a new video with your new camera. If you have any questons about videos and what not I have a Canon Vixia myself so I may be able to help you. Otherwise, GREAT STUFF!!!

  • @file91e Thanks so much! I totally winged it haha. Ok so I kinda have a big problem. I have been filming with the camera, today I tried to upload it and I found out my Mac computer isn't compatable with the camera software. I sound stupid huh? Like I know I should have checked that before I bought it or filmed with it. Do you know if there is anything I can do?

I found out thet your camera records in MPEG-4 which is a standard for Youtube and HD recording. So this is good. Most editing software can read this. Hopefully you won't have to upgrade your video editing software. But f you have to that's no biggie...there are alot of different programs you can get that aren't expensive. But snce you have a Mac, most Mac's come with some sort of video editing software so you should be okay. Lemme know if the drag and drop thing works.

I figured there would be a problem. I had kind of the same problem when I started. Now to get the video files on your computer you should just be able to put your SD card into a card reader and "drag and drop" your files onto your computer then edit from there using your editing software. That's what i do. The software they give you is usually useless. You can find better software online. What do you use to edit your videos?
