@CastleG8 How is that cuasing a lot of damage. I do this all the time with my snorkled honda, have been for years now with zero issues.

@trx500fm1 .. Yea i did, the water may not have been as deep but the only thing showing was the handlebars and gas cap.. that was about 8 years ago, and it still runs too.

@flamesrdark243 well, 2 things, 1: no you didn't, not with an un-snorkeled recon. 2: you raise the idle so that when you let off of the throttle, it's still revving high enough to keep water from entering the exhaust.
