  • i would like to hunt there if you could get that close to a deer that would be awsome!!!!

  • i just got back from Yosemite, and when i was hiking up to mirror lake i saw a family of mule deer. later on i found a buck lying down, then another buck came along and they started fighting. i caught it all on tape!

  • The fat one look very old and sick... Maybe a few more year and it may RIP...

  • those are hybrid mulies with black tail cross..you can tell by the black stripe along the tail..nice video..there not scared cause they are rutting..and there not dumb..

just used to people from the highly visited area from tourist

  • Yes, beautiful. But note Mule Deer are among the dumbest in the forest! They really will put their head behind a rock to hide. If they can't see you, there's no way you see them!

These are obviously quite comfortable with people nearby. Cows are rarely THAT domesticated. But I'd still respect that rack - the weirdest thing can startle them. Mulies don't fight as readily as a White Tail would in such close proximity, but let a shrieking kid scare them and... well, you were too close!
